Localizer/Translator

Job description:

Longtail Studios is looking for a freelance Localizer/Translator to translate one of our video games from Portuguese (Brazil) into Portuguese (Portugal).

The ideal candidate will be able to tailor the pop-culture references of this game to an Portuguese consumer base and become familiar with the game characters and their individual personalities.

The Localizer/Translator must be a native Portuguese speaker with a high level of proficiency in English. He/She should be familiar with Portuguese pop-culture.

Longtail Studios is a New York based developer of video games for mobile devices and new gaming platforms. Our mission is to create character driven games that explore the universal themes of mainstream entertainment.
